The Japanese architect Junya Ishigami held an open lecture at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts (KADK) in Copenhagen on 23 October 2019. His studio Junya Ishigami + Associates won the first OBEL AWARD the previous day for the project Water Garden in Tochigi, Japan.

The lecture was hosted by the School of Architecture and sponsored by the Henrik Frode Obel Foundation.
